Mathematical Physics is a joint division between the Natural Science and Engineering (LTH) faculties and is part of the Department of Physics at Lund University. Research is conducted primarily in quantum-mechanical many-particle theory. Topics include nanometer systems and time-dependent non-equilibrium phenomena, quantum information, strongly correlated materials, atomic structure and dynamics, ultra-cold atomic quantum gases, and nuclear structure. Numerous partnerships exist both internationally and within Lund University.
